WHITE SLEEVELES BLAZER

Remember my  post using a black sleeveless blazer?
Back then I was looking for a white one, but I never found it, and I decided to buy that black one as I found it very useful.

Finally I found the one that I actually wanted, it was a couple of months ago and the best part was that I found it reduced to more than 50% of its initial price.
I have a lot of ways on how to use it, this time I wore them with my boyfriend jeans and a black and white printed blouse.

Recuerdan mi post usando un blazer sin mangas en color negro?
En ese entonces estaba buscando uno blanco, pero nunca lo encontré, y me decidi por uno negro ya que me pareció muy útil en lo que encontraba el que en realidad buscaba.

Finalmente encontre uno en color blanco, fue hace un par de meses y lo mejor fue que lo encontre rebajado a mas del 50% de su precio inicial.
Tengo un monton de maneras de cómo usarlo, esta vez lo utilizé con mis boyfriend jeans y una blusa estampada en colores blanco y negro.

All black

Hello dear readers.

If you ever have been in such a hurry or so tired to even look at your wardrove and pick something to create an outfit, but you have to because you have this special event or reunion and you must look good, a quick and very effective answer is to go monochromatic, and there is no better monochromatic look than one with the black color.

The outfit I show you this time is very simple, a simple peplum blouse and leggings, both in black and paired them with shoes and accessories in silver tones.
Besides my outfit of the day, I also want to share my new hairstyle, I´ve been wanting to change my color to a darker one for a while and this weekend I decided to do it. I think that changes are always a good thing to do.

Hola queridos lectores.

Si alguna vez han estado tan apurados o fastidiados que no tienen ganas de escoger algo de su armario, pero aún así tienen alguna cena o evento y deben lucir bien, la respuesta es optar por un look monocromático y que mejor color que el negro.

El que les muestro yo es muy sencillo, una blusa peplum lisa y unos leggings negros, con zapatos y accesorios en tonos plateados.
Además de mi outfit del día de hoy, también les comparto mi nuevo look de cabello, ya tenia tiempo de querer un tono más oscuro y me decidio este fin de semana además me hize fleco. Siempre es bueno un cambio o renovación.
Y ustedes, cuando fue la ultima vez que se hicieron un cambio de look?

top over the dress

Hello everyone!

Have you ever had the rejective feeling over a dress that you used to love after a couple of times wearing it?
I do, and it´s a real shame because sometimes I stop using dresses that are almost new and that in fact I really like.

to avoid this to happen again I found a different way of wearing a floral dress that I bought this summer, so that the next time I want to use it as it is, I wont feel like everyone knows it.

The way I used it: Very simple, I used a blue top over it,  I also added a black belt to accessorize the outfit.

What do you think about my idea? Would you try it with one of you favorite dresses?

Nunca les ha pasado que despues de usar un vestido un par de veces ya no encuentran una manera diferente de usarlo?
A mi me ocurre eso muy seguido y es una lastima ya que algunas veces dejo de usar vestidos practicamente nuevos y que de hecho me gustan mucho.

Para evitar que me pase esto con mi vestido de flores que compre este verano, opte por usarlo de una manera diferente, así la proxima vez que quiera usarlo ya no sentire que todo el mundo ya lo ha visto.

La forma en la que lo use: Muy facil, me puse una blusa lisa sobre de el, como la tela de la blusa es un poco gruesa ayudo perfecto para que el estampado del vestido no se transpasara, y agregue un cinto negro para darle un toque diferente.

¿Que les parece mi idea? Serían capaces de aplicarla alguna vez en alguno de sus vestidos?

Boyfriend jeans

HI lovely readers!

What is the most confortable garment you´ve used?
For me, the loose pants. Though I love skinny pants, sometimes I don´t feel like I´m in the mood for tight clothes, and these are a very good option to wear and still looking stylish.

They could be baggy or harem pants, boyfriend jeans or wide leg trousers, all you need is a plain T-shirt or tank top of any color to go with them. Or you can pop the look by adding a more formal top and high heels, they key on this is to create a contrast between the careless look of the pants and the rest of your outfit.

Lately I´ve been a little obssesed with this kind of clothing, specially the boyfriend jeans that I´m wearing on today´s look. No matter what you wear on the top part of your outfit as long as you´re combining them with heels. There is always something appealingly elegant about boyfriend jeans.

¿Cuál es la prenda más cómoda que has utilizado?
Para mí, son los pantalones holgados. Aunque me encantan los skinny jeans, a veces no siento muchas ganas de usar ropa ajustada, y éstos son una muy buena opción de usar y seguir viendote bien.

Pueden ser baggy, harem, pantalones de pierna ancha o boyfriend jeans, lo único que necesitas es una camiseta simple o blusa sin mangas de cualquier color para usar con ellos. Y si quieres realzar el look sólo hay que añadir unos zapatos altos y tus accesorios preferidos, la clave de esto es generar un contraste entre el aspecto descuidado de los pantalones  y lo formal del resto de tu outfit.
Últimamente estoy un poco obsesionada con este tipo de ropa, especialmente los boyfriend jeans (que estoy usando en el look de hoy). Personalmente me encanta la manera en la que se ven cuando se llevan con zapatos de tacón alto, no importa lo que te pones en la parte superior siempre hay algo atractivo y elegante sobre los boyfriend jeans.

Metallic sandals

Hello lovely readers!

For this summer a “must” for your closet are a pair of metallic flat sandals.
There are a lot of styles and different variations of gold and silver tones. If you have the budget my advice is to buy one of each color (one in gold and one in silver),but if you can only afford a pair, you will have to choose between one of them.
I know this is difficult work to do but something that helps me deciding is to remember my latest outfits and identify which color has prevailed on the accesories I have used. From that point of view you can take advantage of what you already have to pair with your new purchase. For example if most of your necklaces and bracelets have golden details, you would tend to buy the golden ones, and the same thing happens if you have a metallic clutch or bag.

Para este verano un “must” para nuestro armario son un par de sandalias metálicas.
Hay una gran cantidad de estilos y tonalidades de oro y plata. Si tienes el presupuesto, mi consejo es que compres una de cada color (un par de doradas y otro de plateadas), pero si sólo puedes comprar un par, deberás elegir entre uno de ellos, y eso no es cosa fácil. Pero algo que me ha ayudado a mi a decidir es recordar los últimos outfits que he llevado e identificar qué color ha prevalecido en los accesorios que he utilizado. Desde ese punto de vista se puede tomar ventaja de lo que ya se tiene para así poder combinar nuestra nueva adquisición. Por ejemplo, si la mayoría de tus collares y pulseras tienen detalles dorados, lo más probable es que te inclines por las doradas, y lo mismo sucede si tienes algun clutch o bolsa metalicos.

Espero que mi consejo les sea útil al escoger sus sandalias nuevas.

Ripped Black Jeans

Hello readers, finally I had some time to arrange a quick shooting of what I wore last weekend. This outfit is pretty much my go-to classic and default look when I want to get out of home fast and have plenty stuff to do.

Lately, ripped pants have had a comeback but in a less-distressed, more-edgy way. You can always try and modify an old pair of jeans in order to get an original pair. To remove a little bit the toughness in the outfit, I added my BETTY Statement Necklace from Call Us Whatever and red heels. I really liked the result and it’s just about dressing according to your mood. Enjoy your day!

Hola lectores, finalmente tuve algo de tiempo para organizarme y tomarme fotos de lo que usé el fin de semana pasado. Este outfit es prácticamente mi favorito cuando quiero salir rápido de casa y tengo un montón de vueltas por hacer. 

Ultimamente hemos visto que los pantalones rotos volvieron a hacerse presentes  en una manera menos deshecha y más atrevida. Puedes intentar modificar unos jeans viejos para que tengas tu prenda original. Para romper un poco la imágen ruda, agregué mi collar BETTY de Call Us Whatever y tacones rojos. Realmente me gustó mucho el resultado y es que debemos recordar que siempre debemos vestir el reflejo de nuestro humor. Disfruten el día!

A minimal look

Hello lovely readers!

This past weekend I tried a pretty minimal look based on black and silver.
I have always been a declared fan of the black color for so many reasons, but lately the main one is the fact that unlike the rest of the color palette, black and white colors do not determined your mood, instead of that they give you the chance to adapt them to your own state of mind at the moment you are wearing them.

I paired this simple black dress with my sleeveless blazer and added a pop of brightness with these silver heels and clutch.
I think it went pretty well and sometimes less is more.

Este fin de semana pasado intente usar un look bastante minimalista basado en los colores negro y plateado.
Siempre he sido fan declarada del color negro por mil y un razones, pero últimamente la principal es el hecho de que a diferencia del resto de la paleta de colores, los colores blanco y negro no determinan o limitan tu estado de ánimo, en lugar de eso te dan la oportunidad de adaptarse a tu propio estado de ánimo según el momento en que los estas usando.

Combiné este sencillo vestido negro con mi blazer sin mangas y añadí un toque de brillo con estos zapatos y clutch plateados.
Creo que salió bastante bien ya que para mi a veces menos es más.

Call Us Whatever + Peligrosa Agustina: Print and denim

Hello to all of our readers!

We are almost finishing our 6-day collaboration featuring Peligrosa Agustina and we have to say we really enjoyed it. Since the moment we got in to the store we found a lot of clothes that reflected our style and not only that, we also found the right accesories for each of those outfits.

This is my second look and the 5th of our “must haves”. The whole look is based on the shorts I picked and their print. I loved their color combination since its very easy to mix with a big number of tops, for example the light blue denim shirt that I used which matches perfectly with the light tones of the shorts; and of course the fact that denim is always on trend.

The statement necklace I´m wearing (also from Peligrosa Agustina) was the final detail on the outfit and worked great to get the result I was looking for.

Hola a todos nuestros lectores.

Estamos casi al final de nuestra colaboración de 6 días con Peligrosa Agustina la cual disfrutamos mucho,  ya que como hemos mencionado lo que buscas, encuentras y desde el momento en que llegamos  encontramos más de una prenda que reflejara nuestro estilo y con la cual nos identificamos.

Hoy es mi segundo look y es un poco más casual que el primero. Está basado principalmente en los shorts y su estampado el cual me encantó por la combinación de colores muy fácil de coordinar con cualquier top. En este caso escogí esta blusa de botones en mezclilla clara que encajó perfectamente con los tonos celestes  que llevan los shorts, además de que la mezclilla nunca pasa de moda.

El collar, también de Peligrosa Agustina fue el toque final en mi outfit y funcionó perfecto para lograr el resultado que buscaba.
