DIY – Studded sweatshirt

As i promised in my last post, here is my studded sweatshirt DIY project.

It takes only 3 simple steps, and the things that you´ll need are:

– An old sweatshirt
– Fabric chalk
– A ruler
– studs (i bought my studs on beadkraft, but there are a lot of places where you can get them)

Como les prometí en mi post anterior, aquí esta mi DIY de sudadera con estoperoles

Solo lleva 3 simples pasos, y lo que se necesita es:

-Una sudadera que ya no uses
-Gis para ropa
-Una regla
-Estoperoles (Yo compré los míos en beadkraft, pero hay muchos lugares donde los puedes conseguir.

1. With the help of the ruler and chalk, draw a grid through the front side of the sweatshirt of about 2″ apart, so you can get guide in placing the studs.

1. Con la ayuda de la regla y el gis, dibuja una cuadricula de aproximadamente 5 cm de separación para que puedas guiarte al momento de colocar los estoperoles.

2. Place the studs at the intersection of each grid lines, if you don´t have special tweezers, you can do it with the blunted edge of a pair of scissors like I did.

2. Coloca los estoperoles en cada una de las intersecciones de las lineas de la cuadricula, si no cuentas con pinzas especiales, puedes hacerlo con el borde sin filo de unas tijeras como lo hice yo.

3. When you finished, you just need to wash the sweatshirt to remove the chalk leftovers.

3. Cuando hayas terminado, solo tienes que lavar la sudadera para remover los restos de gis.
