The Letter Jacket

El otoño ya se siente totalmente en nuestra ciudad y debo admitir que aunque estaba consciente de la fecha… no me encontraba preparada para éste clima en lo absoluto. Me defino como un amante del verano (aun cuando los de Monterrey son súper extremos) y ¨verano¨ es lo que tenía en mente para el fin de semana pasado. Pero bien dicen que en toda situación hay que ver las oportunidades, así que ese día fue perfecto para usar mi nueva chaqueta de letras; es de esas piezas diferentes y divertidas que puedes tener en tu closet.

Hablando del look en general… hay algo con éstos boyfriend jeans que me encanta, todas sabemos que no son los pantalones mas favorecedores y mucha gente no entiende porque el gusto de traer algo aguado, roto y deslavado; pero es exactamente eso, usar algo para nada femenino junto con unos zapatos de pico rojos, top básica, accesorios vintage, labios rojos y chaqueta con un print diferente. Que opinan? Usan los boyfriend jeans? Cómo va su transición a invierno?

Fall has made presence in our city and I must admit that, even tough I was aware of the time of the year… I was not prepared at all for this weather. I would call myself as a ¨summer lover¨(even though it can be really hot in Monterrey) and ¨summer¨is what I was expecting for last weekend. But as people say, we must see opportunities in every situation, so that day was perfect to wear my new letter jacket, it is one of those different and fun pieces you can have in your closet.

Talking about my look in general…. there is something about this boyfriend jeans that I love, we all know they are not the most flattering jeans and a lot of people doesn’t understand why wearing something loose, ripped or leached; but that’s exactly the point: wearing something not girly next to a great pair of pointy red shoes, basic top, vintage accessories, red lips and a jacket with a different print.
