Black and White

Stripes, squares and the mix of them, I’ve been seeing this a lot. At the beginning I wasn’t really into it, but then I started seeing some variations and different ways to use it and now I would like to give it a try. I focused this post in the Black and White trend, I wanted to show you the Runway style and how to translate it into an everyday look.  I will start searching for the right piece for me, so wish me luck! How about you? Have you tried it already?

Rayas, cuadros y la combinacion de ambos, he visto mucho de esto. Al principio no me gustaba mucho, pero luego empece a ver variaciones y diferentes formas de usarlo y ahora quisiera darle una oportunidad. Enfoque este post con la tendencia de Blanco y Negro, queria mostrarles el estilo en la pasarela y como traducirlo a un look de diario. Empezare la busqueda de la pieza indicada para mi, deseenme suerte! Y ustedes? Ya han usado esta tendencia?

ARCHITECTURAL SKIRTS

I’m sure you all have seen this white skirt (first image) from Zara eeverywhere (blog talking). It is really pretty, not my favorite, but definetly works if you can’t afford designer pieces. I decided to share in this post some architectural or minimalistic skirts, I’m dying to get one for myself.

And guess what… this is just a little glimpse of our inspiration for future projects… Stay tuned!

Estoy segura que muchos de ustedes han visto ésta falda blanca (primer imagen) de Zara en toodas partes (hablando de blogs) . Es muy bonita, no mi favorita pero definitivamente funciona si no puedes comprar piezas de diseñador. Decidí compartir algunas faldas minimalistas y arquitectónicas, muero por tener una de éste tipo.

Y adivinen que… éste post es sólo una probadita de nuestra inspiración para proyectos futuros… Estén pendientes!

Street style – Boys

To all our men readers…: we don’t forget about you!. Here is some  Fall/Winter Streetstyle inspiration for our last days of cold weather (at least here in Monterrey). We also want to invite you to  Festival Nrmal, we will be next Saturday in “El Mercadito” selling some fashion items, delicious and original snacks and of course we will be shooting some great streetstyle to post in our blog, so we really hope to see you there and enjoy the event!

Para todos nuestros lectores masculinos..: no nos olvidamos de ustedes! Aqui hay un poco de inspiracion Otono/Invierno para nuestros ultimos dias de frio (al menos aqui en Monterrey). Style Icon – Blogger Karla Deras

Fashion Bloggers are the IT girls, basically now they’re the ones who appear in Magazines, collaborate with Designers and dictate trends.

There is one Blogger that I’ve been following for more than six years, she has always had a very original and classic style, quite different from what you see in all blogs.  She has been a real style inspiration to me and has influenced a lot my wardrobe choices… Meet the Blogger: Karla Deras from Karla’s closet.

Las Bloggers de Moda son ahora las IT Girls, basicamente son las que aparecen en las revistas, colaboran con Diseñadores y marcan tendencias.

Style Icon – Olivia Palermo

It’s almost weekend and we are ready to get inspired with this style icon. She is beyond perfect, and I really love her style because it’s so classy and chic. I guess she always chooses pieces that are flattering on her body type cause they always look good on her, plus I am obsessed with her hair. I think I’m going to go towards a similar color and cut, but a little longer. She literally covers every trend we’ve talked about… mixing prints, wide leg trousers, fur vests, colorful coats, and the list goes on and on. I declare myself a Palermo-fan!

 El fin de semana está a la vuelta de la esquina y es tiempo de inspirarnos con éste ícono de la moda. Ella es más que perfecta, y me encanta su estilo porque siempre luce chic y con clase. Creo que siempre elige piezas que son las ideales para su tipo de cuerpo porque siempre se le ven increíbles, además estoy obsesionada con su cabello. Creo que mi próxima visita al estilista será para teñir mi cabello de un color y corte similar, sólo un poquito más largo. En ella podemos ver que usa  literalmente todas las tendencias que hemos mencionado antes… mezcla de estampados, pantalones amplios, chalecos peludos, abrigos coloridos, y la lista puede seguir eternamente.¡Me declaro oficialmente una Palermo-fan!
