PLAID TREND for.. hot and cold weather?

No es nada nueva la noticia de que el tartán está en tendencia, y ése es exactamente el punto de mi post el día de hoy. Debo confesar que cuando vi que ésta tendencia regresaba fui muy escéptica, no me convencía y siendo sincera no pensé que duraría mucho. Bueno, pues me  equivoqué y lo que más me sorprende es que ya no sólo es algo del ¨invierno¨, llevo tiempo buscando los pantalones perfectos o cualquier otra pieza con éste print, pero hasta ahora sólo sigo con mi bufanda y las típicas camisas de botones que todos tenemos. Algo que me encanta de ésto, al menos a mi parecer es que es muy fácil de convertirla en algo hecho por ti mismo (o alguien que en verdad pueda manejar una maquina de coser), así que les comparto unas imágenes para que se inspiren y si aun no poseen algo, lo compren o hagan su propio DIY!

It’s nothing new to say that tartan is a trend, and that is exactly the point of my post today. I must confess that when I saw this trend was comming back I was very skeptical, I was not convinced and to be honest I did not think it would last long. Well, I was wrong and what surprises me the most is that is not a ¨winter thing¨, I´ve been looking for a while the perfect pants or any other piece with this print, but I continue with my scarf and the typical buttoned shirt we all have. Something I love about this, at least in my opinion is that it is very easy to turn it into something made by yourself (or someone who really can handle a sewing machine), so I’ll share some pictures for you to be inspired and if you still do not have something, you should go out and get one or make your own DIY.

Phillip Lim for Target

Otra perfecta colaboración de Diseñador + Target, ésta vez es el turno de Phillip Lim de pertenecer al grupo de diseñadores que se interesan en hacer un poco más accesible la moda. Que podrán encontrar? Ropa, zapatos, accesorios y artículos para viaje; por supuesto para hombres y mujeres… que emoción! Estará a la venta en el mes de Septiembre en algunas tiendas y en línea. Les comparto  imagenes de su lookbook. Cuales son sus piezas favoritas?

 

Another perfect collaboration of Designer + Target, this time is Phillip Lim’s turn to belong this designers group interested in making fashion a little more accessible. What will you find? Clothes, shoes, accessories and travel articles, of course for ladies and gentlemen… so excited! This will be available in September in some stores and online. En éste sábado quiero compartir con ustedes unas fotos increíbles de Candice Swanepoel (es hermosa!) para Vogue Rusia en Agosto. Me enamoré en cuanto vi las fotos, una de mis modelos favoritas + Vogue + estampados, texturas, telas perfectas + stacking de joyería (que me parece muy Méxicana también, me recuerda las piezas hermosas de plata que puedes encontrar en Querétaro) + un fondo.. muy Méxicano, no creen? Para mí es la perfección, disfruten las imágenes (chavas y chavos) y que pasen muy buen Sábado!

This Saturday I want to share with you great photos from Candice Swanepoel (she is so beautiful) for Vogue Russia. I fell in love the moment I saw them, one of my favorite models + Vogue + Perfect prints, fabrics and textures + jewelry stacking (that actually seems really mexican, it reminds me great silver jewelry pieces you can find in Queretaro) + a backround … really mexican, don’t you think? This is perfection to me, enjoy the images (boys and girls) and have a great Saturday!!

Back to school Inspo

Hola!!

Se están acabando las vacaciones, no más playa, lugares nuevos o incluso tener días libres… regresa la temporada de clases y trabajo… ya están listas?

Hello!!
Vacations are coming to an End, no more beach, new landscapes or even having free days… work and school season is getting closer… are you ready?

Lo que me encantaba de regresar a la escuela, aparte de iniciar algo nuevo ya sea escuela diferente, compañeros diferentes o sólo un semestre nuevo. Es regresar con algo nuevo como un buen bronceado, nuevo look, closet renovado, una buena bolsa escolar, tal vez unos lentes o incluso una actitud diferente!

Así que decidí compartirles algunas fotos de muy buenos looks para el back to school, considero que agregue una buena variante según tu estilo. Si vas muy formal, girly o literal en tennis y mochila. Todo se vale! Mientras te sientas tú misma.

What I used to love about going back to school, besides starting something new whether different school, different partners or just a new semester. Is coming back with something new like a good tan, new look, new closet, a good school bag, maybe a the it sunnies or even a different attitude!

So I decided to share some photos of really good looks for back to school, I think I added different looks to suit your style. If you’re very formal,  girly or you like going to school in tennis and backpack. Anything is valid! Just be yourself!

Male Blogger inspiration

Hola lectores!

Decidí continuar con la inspiración de estilo para hombres, con un blogger que descubrí hace poco pero me encanto su estilo. Su blog es I am Galla. Para mi fue una perfecta combinación entre moderno y elegante, sin caer en outfits demasiado extravagantes o femeninos. Así que chavos (y chavas también por si visten a sus novios/hermanos), entren a su blog, inspírense e intenten una que otra tendencia, creo que obtendrán muy buenas ideas con éste blogger.

I decided to continue with male style inspiration theme posts, with one blog I found:  I am Galla. He is a perfect combination of modern and elegant, without wearing outfits too bold or ¨girly¨. So, boys and girls (If you like to dress your boyfriend/brothers) take a look into his blog, get inspired and try one of the trends he wears, I think you will get really good outfit ideas with this blogger.
