Leopard Dress

We’ve had some rainy days and the perfect accessory for it has been this black hat that I bought during the fall. This dress was a piece a bought in a bloggers clothing sale and was actually very affordable and I must admit I have a weakness for leopard prints. I hope someday we can hold a sale on our stuff and we sill definitely invite you all to come over. As you may see, this wedge peep-toe boots have been one of my favorite pair of shoes this season, and the truth is they are so comfortable and easy to match with anything that I always end up choosing them for my outfits.

Hemos tenido algunos días lluviosos y el accesorio perfecto ha sido éste sombrero negro que compré durante el otoño. Mi vestido lo compré en una venta de ropa de bloggers y estaba a precio muy accesible además debo admitir que tengo una debilidad por el estampado de leopardo. Espero que algun día podamos tener nosotras también una venta de nuestros closets y definitivamente los invitaremos a todos. Como pueden ver, éstos botines de cuña han sido mi par de zapatos favoritos ésta temporada, y la verdad es que son muy cómodos y fáciles de combinar así que siempre termino eligiendolos para mis atuendos.

DIY: The 10-min. top

Today’s post brings up a DIY of a top involving transparencies and neon colors. I love the sporty feel of the fabric and the vibrant color on it.

After you find the perfect fabric, find a simple top that fits you well without being stretchy. Make sure to pin it down with fabric folded in half. Cut it around with half an inch extra space to sew the whole thing up. After you have cut the top, do the details on the different sizes of the neckline  and make sure to make a 4.5 inch cut along the back top part for your head to fit through the hole.  You can always add a button on the top to keep it together. Sew the tops through the sides and wear it with a sports bra or a cool cropped top underneath and your good to go. It’s this simple!

El post de hoy se trata sobre un DIY de una blusa que involucra transparencias y colores neon. Me encanta la apriencia deportiva de la tela y lo brillante de su color.

Después de que consigas la tela que más te guste, encuentra una blusa de corte sencillo que te quede perfecta y no sea stretch. Asegúrate de colocar con alfileres la blusa en la tela doblada por la mitad. Corta todo su alrededor dejando un borde de media pulgada por todo su contorno. Después de haberlo cortado, define los diferentes tamaños de cortes del cuello y haz un corte vertical por el centro de la paarte de atrás de 4.5 pulgadas. Puedes agregar un broche o botón para mantenerlo junto. Cóse los lados de la blusa y úsala con un top deportivo o corto por debajo y estás lista para irte. ¡Así de fácil!

Mexican Signature Shorts by CUW

Hello readers, I have a special post for you today. As you may know, we have many products on sale in our Facebook Page and one that’s been a special project is this short that I am wearing today. Yes, you have been actually seeing a lot about the sports trend and specially the running shorts, but even ELLE Magazine tweeted yesterday about it. It’s a fact, the sporty looks are here to stay and well, this one shares a lot of things we love. It basically has everything we want to represent: Mexican culture, trending items and unique it pieces.

Hola lectores, el día de hoy tengo un post especial para ustedes. Como sabrán, tenemos muchos productos en venta en nuestra página de Facebook y uno de nuestros proyectos especiales es éste short que ven hoy. Sí, han estado viendo y escuchando mucho sobre la tendencia deportiva y especialmente, los shorts para correr, pero hasta ELLE Magazine twiteo ayer por la tarde acerca de lo mismo. Es un hecho, los looks con toques deportivos están aquí para quedarse, y ésta pieza tiene muchas cosas que nos encantan.
