Cut-out inspiration

Garments that seem to be floating over some part of the body giving the feeling of no gravity; shoes with irregular cuts and parts that look like they´re about to detached from the rest of the footwear have something that lately is attracting me so much.
Some of these pictures are from Alexander Wang´s previous collections, some from random sources. But what they have in common is that for me all of them evoke a sense of order, cleanliness and mostly a sense of “less is more”.

Have you tried some cut-out styles?

  1. Cut out boots are my unhealthy obsession right now! Love the ‘less is more’ idea, definitely sparking up new ideas for some cut out experimentation.
